Everything for the party was kept pretty simple. The decorations were hearts I had cut out from my scrapbook paper stash. Ella and Ruby had lots of fun hanging them all over the house. For dinner, we made heart-shaped pizzas and had strawberries, veggies, and pink lemonade. And of course, loads of sweet treats!
We played fun little games!
Amara won the "Conversation Heart Stacking" game.

Freeze Dance!
And "Eat the Licorice with No Hands" game!
Here's Ella with her favorite friend from school, Rena. She's all she ever talks about.
And her little friend Julie from dance class.
The party really was fun and cute, especially because the girls helped so much with the planning and decorating. Everyone had lots of fun! I decided it was better than a birthday party because you don't have to worry about presents and party favors. Plus, the theme is already built in! And of course, the next weekend, Ella was asking to have another party.
On actual Valentine's Day, Ruby and I went to Richard's work to deliver donuts to everyone in his hall of the dental clinic. And we heart attacked his car on our way out! I loved the thought of him walking out with all these tough Marines around and seeing his car covered in heart doilies!!!
