Let's Finish Up Thanksgiving, Shall We?

So, I've been informed that I've turned into the worst blogger ever. (Thanks for keeping it real Buff.) I figured that while my kids are fully engrossed in watching Calliou and I'd rather gouge my own eyes out than watch that show, I'd finish up documenting last year! Oh, I'm so far behind.

The main reason we chose to go to Arizona for Thanksgiving instead of Christmas was that it was the big Smith Family Reunion. We had so much fun seeing siblings, cousins, parents, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and even Grandma Smith was there! It's hard being all the way across the country, but it sure is fun when we manage to get together.

Kami is Ruby's doppleganger. They look SO much alike!

And here is Ella's doppleganger...Natalli (Richard's youngest sister). They look a lot alike and even have the same hair color.

Here's where Ruby spent a lot of her time:
She loves horses and was very brave feeding them grass.

Here's me and Leah:
And the pumpkin bum scarecrow. He's like part of the family.

We ate a ton, visited a ton, had the family auction (I don't think we won anything), and even made our kids participate in the talent show. While their cousins all played musical instruments and recited poetry, our girls "danced". They were the only ones to insist on taking the stage. Ella showed of her mad toe tapping skills and Ruby twirled herself dizzy. Would I consider it talent? Maybe. Maybe not. But it's more skill than I have.
