Wednesdays are short days for Richard, so this afternoon we took off across the border to Crystal Beach. Who knew there was an actual beach so close by? There was real sand and everything! It
is still lake water to swim in, which I refuse to do...you know, dead bodies floating around, fish nibbling your toes...but Richard and Ella had fun swimming. It was awesome to just lay in the sun and relax for a while. We love getting fun family time!
Ella sat and watched some kids throwing a football for five minutes until we had to leave. She was completely enthralled.

Oh my gosh I can't believe she is already one!! I meant to call you! Her dress is so freakin cute. Only you could throw the cutest party ever! I'm sad we can't be there for things like that. We miss you guys! xoxo
